Corfu Town:
Top of the Old Fortress
Corfu Town is the one of the top tourist attractions in Greece.
The most notable sight in the town is probably the ‘Old
Fortress’ by the sea, which was once the site of the Temple
of Hera. Travel north in the city there is the ‘Royal Palace’,
to the South of the centre there is the ‘Archaelogical museum’,
and the of Roman sites in Corfu Town , Kanoni (Vlakerani) and
Mouse Island (Pontikonissi) are the most visited.
