Sitia: Beach
Sitia is located on the eastern coast of Crete and has a population
of around 9000. Even during the busy summer peak, Sitia retains
a certain charm and laid-back style. Sitia has been populated
since Minoan times and has a lively waterfront that is lined
with restaurants and bars. There is also a beach which offers
plenty of water sports activities and for the historically
minded tourist there is an Archaeological Museum.
