Poros: Bay
The small seaside town of Poros, on the east coast, is relatively
untouched by tourism. It has an excellent sandy beach,
which runs beside a wide promenade for a good length of
the town. In the summer months, the seaside cafes and restaurants
provide a pleasant place to enjoy the charming ambience
of the town. Excursions can be made from the town, including
a walk up to the monastery of Atrou, which lies on a 535m
high hill.
