Agia Marina: Fish market
Agia Marina is the capital of Leros and shares its hilltop location with a Byzantine Castle that dominates the horizon. It is by no means a large settlement but remains one of the islands main ports. On the rear side of the hill are the villages of Platanos and Pandeli, but it is the castle that was built on the remains of an ancient castle that the tourists generally come to see.
