Sigri: Fort
remains
Sigri is a small fishing village situated on the south-west of
the island of Lesvos. Roughly 26km from Skala Eressos There is
a castle that is the remainder of a Turkish fort from the Ottoman
empire, and a short distance away there is the remains of a stunning
petrified forest.
